1.  How would you describe your personal style, and how has it evolved since becoming a mother?

I would describe my personal style as forever changing, I love to wear outfits based on how I feel on the day. I feel as though the more I get to know myself in every new season I'm in, the more I get to know my personal style. Some days I love to wear beautiful dresses when I'm feeling soft, other days I'm getting creative.

At the moment two years into mothering and postpartum, I would say I have moved away from comfort and more into what I know makes me feel more, me. I am starting to appreciate fashion again, and now moving to a colder climate in Tasmania, I can't wait to explore more of my identity through clothes.

2.  What role does fashion play in your life as a mother, and how do you balance style and practicality in your daily wardrobe choices?

I underestimated how much fashion actually played a big role in my life. Living on the Sunshine Coast, it was always so hot and humid - even in winter I could wear layers for maybe 3 hours of the day. So I felt a lot of my identity wasn't able to thrive because growing up, It did quite a bit through my clothing choices. Then all of a sudden I was spending my days in swimmers or undies and if I had to leave the house I wore minimal clothing which to me, felt so boring and never felt like myself.

At the moment, I would say I value outfits that have both style and practicality - I feel so much more confident in my days when I'm wearing something I love and also feel comfortable in.

3.  Can you share some of your favourite go-to outfits or fashion essentials for busy days as a mom?

I find this question comes at such an important time in my life at the moment, I'm in the middle of moving away from a very hot humid climate and into a much cooler one whilst also moving towards more opportunity to create my go-to outfits and more of a “style”.

Though, we are currently on the road, and I have been living in my Hive Pants by land and Honey, a beautiful blue jumper i bought at the op shop before we left, and hand me downs from my sisters wardrobe; old pieces from brands like Free People and Christy Dawn - i think no matter how old i get, i'll forever be wearing her clothes haha.

4.  How do you balance the demands of motherhood with the responsibilities and creative challenges of being a content creator? Are there any strategies or routines that have proven particularly effective for you?

I feel extremely lucky because my partner, Kai is a photographer/videographer so we both work together on a lot of projects, so this means the load is balanced out; I love to have creative direction and he helps me bring it to life. This also means I can continue giving my all to our daughter, Olive, as she will always be my main priority - content creation has been flowing with me and the seasons of motherhood, which has been really beautiful.

As for strategies and routines, at the moment we don't have any. We are on the road, so chose this time to be more about being together rather than work; although creating images and videos has become a favourite thing to do together so there has still been plenty of that.

5.  How do you decide what to share and what to keep private, especially when it comes to your children?

I am definitely still figuring this out, that's for sure. I am kind of new to having my page on public, so I am always wary of what I post of our daughter and our lives.

6.  Can you share a glimpse into your life right now?

My partner, Kai, my daughter, Olive and I are nearing the end of our month-long road trip moving ourselves to Lutruwita/Tasmania here in Australia. We have just done 3 states in 3 weeks! It’s been hecticly beautiful.

7.  How do you prioritise self-care in your daily routine, and what are your favourite self-care activities?

If I can get one thing done in my day for myself, it will always be to meditate. I aim to meditate twice a day - I learnt Vedic Meditation last year and it changed everything for me as a mum.

8.  Where do you see yourself and your little family in 5 years?

This is a big question - I’ll be close to 30 so living my best life where I can say I have two little beans running around and we own some land or a home. Also pursuing and achieving the creative projects I have deep in my journal x

9.  Tell us about your recent travels and how you managed that with your beautiful children?

We decided 4 months ago we were going to move our little family to Lutruwita/Tasmania. We sold almost all of our things, left our rental two weeks before we left, packed everything into both cars and left just short of three weeks ago. We have been traveling the coastline south with some inland intervals in there too. Being on the road, even for 3 weeks truly feels like 3 months; there are hardly any distractions and the biggest thing for me has been understanding my relationship with uncomfortableness not so much in the physical sense but truly in an emotional one!

10. What are your three wardrobe staple items?

1. A sweet jumper   2. Comfy sandals    3. Pretty intimates
